मालाबार ट्रोगोन (वैज्ञानिक नाम: हार्पैक्टेस फासिआटस ) ट्रोगोनिडे परिवार से संबंधित है। मालाबार ट्रोगोन एक मध्यम आकार का चमकीले रंग का पक्षी है। यह लैंगिक रूप से द्विरूपी पक्षी है अर्थात नर और मादा एक जैसे नहीं दिखते। इसकी लंबाई लगभग 30 सेमी और वजन 60 से 65 ग्राम होता है।

यह गुफा छत्तीसगढ़ के बस्तर जिला में कांकेर घाटी राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में स्थित है । यह भारत की सबसे गहरी गुफा मानी जाती है जो 60 - 120 फिट गहरी है तथा इसकी लम्बाई 4500 फिट है
